Terms of Use

1. Eligibility to Use:

Use of the Platform is not available to minors under the age of eighteen (18) years. You represent that You are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving Services under the laws of India. Six Buy & Sell reserves the right to refuse access to new Users or terminate existing accounts at any time without providing reasons.

2. Registration and Account Security:

• Account Creation: You can create a registered account by providing certain personal information, mobile number, and email. Verification mandatory required via mobile OTP.
• Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of Your Account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under Your Account.
• Personal Use: You agree and acknowledge that you will use your account to make purchases only for personal use and not for business purposes unless expressly authorized by Six Buy & Sell.

3. User Representations and Obligations:

• Intermediary Status: You acknowledge that Six Buy & Sell is an electronic marketplace and an intermediary. The agreement for sale of motor vehicles or property is strictly a bipartite contract between You and the registered trading partner (Seller/Dealer).
• Prohibited Conduct: You undertake not to defame, abuse, harass, or violate the legal rights of others. You shall not upload any material that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property laws.
• Inspection Responsibility: You (the RC Owner and/or potential seller) must disclose all defects or issues in the vehicle prior to requesting an inspection. If undisclosed issues result in damage during an inspection or test drive, Six Buy & Sell and its partners shall not be liable.

4. Intellectual Property Rights:

The Platform, including all text, graphics, visual interfaces, and the “SIX Buy & Sell” logo (collectively, the “Content”), is owned and controlled by Six India Private Limited. You are not permitted to use Our marks without prior written consent.

1. Car Inspection Standards:

• Owner Listings (30+ Point Checklist): Private sellers must self-declare RTO codes, registration expiry, ownership count, fuel norms (BS4/6), engine health, and insurance status.
• Dealer Listings (250+ Point Audit): A professional technical deep-dive including:

  Engine & Powertrain (1-40):

  Compression tests, turbocharger spooling, and fluid viscosity.

  Transmission (41-75):

  Shift logic for CVT/DCT/Manual and clutch slippage.

  Structure & Body (76-115):

  Paint depth analysis, chassis frame integrity, and factory spot welds.

  Electronics & AC (116-210):

  AC vent temperature measurement and airbag sensor scans.

2. Bike & Scooter Inspection Standards:

• Owner Listings (25+ Point Checklist): Chain tension, sprocket wear, battery age, clutch "play" feel, and lighting functionality.
• Dealer Listings (50+ Point Engineering Audit): Chassis Laser-Alignment, Spark Plug Carbon Analysis, Wiring Harness Audit (rat-bite checks), and cylinder pressure tests.

1. Finance via SIX Finance:

All financial facilitation is managed through Six Finance. We act as a bridge to Banks and NBFCs. The final loan approval and interest rates are determined solely by the third-party lender. Six Buy & Sell is not responsible for loan rejections.

2. Consent to Fetch Vehicle Background Data:

By providing Your registration and chassis number, You authorize Six Buy & Sell to retrieve Vehicle Background Data from third-party sources (Vahan, RTO, Service Records). This data is used to improve report accuracy and transparency.

1. Mandatory Due Diligence:

As a condition of using this Platform, Buyers agree to:

• Paper Trail: Personally verify the original RC Book, Insurance, and PUC.
• Cold Start: Arrive for inspections when the engine is "cold" to assess starter health.
• Physical Search: Look under spare tires and carpets for hidden silt or flood damage.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability:

• “As Is” Basis: All Platform services and inspection reports are provided "As Is" without warranty of any kind.
• Snapshot Policy: An inspection report is a snapshot of the specific moment it was checked. Six Buy & Sell is not liable for mechanical or electronic breakdowns occurring after the inspection.
• Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Six Buy & Sell or its employees be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from vehicle defects or purchase disputes.
